A very heavy single lens reflex, that is most remarkable for its prominent prism housing with its star shaped logo. It can be removed to fit another finder type.
The lens mount is also interesting, being double: screw-in standard M44 in the inner part of the mount ring, and a Miranda specific bayonet on the outer part. Other than compatible prime lenses, photographers could buy numerous amount of ring adapters to fit other lens types, while still keeping focus capabilities.
The camera works with PX625 mercury batteries (that can be replaced with 625A alkalines).
