Description

Folding camera made of metal and covered in black leather.
Voigtländer Anastigmat "Skopar" 1:4,8 F=11,8cm lens with manual focusing using a dial located on the body of the camera – a cog then moves the lens plate back and forth.
Gauthier AGC Embezet shutter allowing from 1/25th to 1/100th of a sec, and Bulb and Time exposures.
The camera opens in an original manner, fully automatically expanding the bellows with the help of a spring and chain moving the lens along one of the lid rails.
Focusing and film advance are done using two big knurled buttons. Catalogs did specify this was intended to be used in winter even when wearing glovers! Focus can even be set even with the camera closed, which is quite unexpected.
The camera shoots both 6,5x11cm and 5,3x6,5cm formats on 116 film, allowing 8 or 16 pictures respectively. The external viewfinder has a corresponding mask ready to use.
In use with 120 film and adapters, you'll need to advance 2½ numbers per picture in full size. In half size, it is easier: note what is showing in the first window (number or intermediary marking) and advance it to the next.
The camera was also produced in 6x9 format for 120 film.
